Gordon Cobb studied music at the School for the Contemporary Arts at  Simon Fraser University and the London College of Music and Media in  England, graduating with distinction from the Masters of Music program in Composition for New Media.

Gordon’s work has been performed recently with the New York City Ballet, Cedar Lake Ensemble in NYC, Emily Molnar Dance’s “SubSilence”, and MovEnt’s “SURGE”. He has recently worked as a sound designer and composer for a number of films including Florence Debeugny’s “Almost Gone”, “Mongolian Eagle” for Red Wolf Films, “Blossom” for Artsy  Fartsy Pictures (Bravo), and “Traces of (e)Motion” for Blur Productions, which was screened at the “Women in Film Festival” 2007. His work was also featured in the 2006 winter Olympics with ice skater Emanuel Sandhu’s free skate program.Gordon is the artistic producer and creative director of “The Biz”, a children’s production company specializing in multimedia development and interdisciplinary collaboration. He has been a registered music teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Toronto for ten years, sharing music with kids in both his private practice and at the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach.
